Summary
This book is about the exploration of death through a classroom
setting. It began in a social studies classroom when the teacher
(the author) decided to pick six subjects to discuss, and death
was one of them. She noticed that when death was brought up there
was a change in the classroom and realized that it was something
that should be explored.

What the Reviewer Liked
The idea that a teacher was able to sit down with kids and fully
address the topic of death is an interesting one. I think that in
this society death is something that is spoken of very rarely and
only when necessary but to devote weeks of classroom time to analyze
their thoughts, feelings, experiences and opinions on death is intriguing
and a worthwhile read.
