Summary
A young boy discusses his usual routine with his beloved uncle
-- sledding, drinking apple cider and playing checkers. One day
Uncle Tim falls asleep while sitting by the fire and the young boy
wonders why he is so tired all of a sudden. His mother tells him
that his uncle has AIDS and will eventually die. The little boy
sees the illness taking over his uncle and is initially scared he
will get AIDS too, but is able to come to terms. After his uncle
dies he realizes that his memories of him and his uncle will always
