Summary
A colony of water bugs notice that one by one the water bugs will
go off and climb up a lily pad and never be seen again. They wonder
why this is and make a pact that whoever wanders off next will promise
to come back and explain. One of the leaders of the colony happens
to be next and he climbs up the lily pad and turns into a dragonfly.
He realizes that with his wings and in his new form he is unable
to go back into the water and explain himself.

Kara is the Gothic root of the word "care."
It means to reach out, to care, to lament, to grieve with.
