Books
Books can be a welcome escape from overwhelming emotional tumult
as well as a way to get in touch with thoughts and feelings relating
to death and grief. They can sometimes be a reassurance and comfort
in times of grief and loss by helping us to: gradually accept our
loss; see new meaning in life; and realize we are not alone in our
experience, no matter how painful. Many books offer suggestions
about how we can come to terms with our loss and how we can support
our own healing.
