Kara is the Gothic root of the word "care."
It means to reach out, to care, to lament, to grieve with.

Words of Comfort

If one of us is 'touchy,' moody or says something we don't mean, we will try to remember that we have all been deeply injured in different ways. We realize that pain lingers even when it's not discussed.
